The Bridge IDELT™ (International Diploma in English Language Teaching) is an intensive, 140-hour course that prepares and certifies you to teach English anywhere in the world.
During the course, each trainee will prepare lesson plans for, and teach, a minimum of six hours of practice teaching lessons with real students. These classes are observed both by trainers and fellow trainees. Trainees will learn to analyze student needs and language skills, as well as learn the differences between teaching Business English and English for young learners.
Trainees will be able to learn from live and video observations of professional language teachers, learning first-hand the art of class management and how to use multimedia in the classroom.
The Bridge IDELT™ is an internationally recognized and accredited certificate that will allow you to teach English anywhere in the world. After you’ve completed the course, we provide you with professional development guidance and assistance finding employment in the field.
Even if you don’t have any previous TEFL experience you can apply to the IDELT™ certification program! Our applicants are from all over the world and from all different backgrounds! To apply you must be at least 20 years of age by course completion, have a high school diploma or equivalent and have native or near-native competence in both spoken and written English.
Our spacious TEFL training center in Buenos Aires offers first-class facilities in the heart of the city. Our modern classrooms are equipped with WIFI and computer access. The school provides a comfortable work area for planning lessons, a small computer lab, as well as free Wi-Fi.
